Her descriptions and plot development are on point. The pacing and editing was great! I liked how the author had some knowledge of the Renaissance era and that it was conveyed in this book but also in such a way that we were not lost but swept away with the story. Fraser embodied them all for each character. I loved the relationships that developed in this book between the main characters. This book is great little read.
As far as I was concerned, the writers had the whole story planned out and knew exactly what they were doing. With its slight Austen-esque feel, stylistically modernized and given a heat factor ratcheted up a few notches, Masked Love delivers strong female characters, a swoon-worthy leading man, and an entangled web of secret love, arranged marriage, and hopeful plotting, ending with an unexpected twist. Zoltack's skills as an author shine through in this novel. Isabelle and Adrian meet at a Masquerade ball during the holiday season. Can she trust the man she loves? I loved the relationships that developed in this book between the main characters. But when Isabelle attends a masquerade ball and dances with a handsome stranger, suddenly Lady Theodosia's marriage plans are on shaky ground.
This short story is the first I've read by. Masked Love is worth the time to read. She takes one last night of innocent fun at a masked ball and brings her trusted maid Isabelle along as her companion. Melanie Fraser did an outstanding job narrating this audiobook. I'd recommend this book for warm fuzzy feelings of love and celebrating true love at any cost is truly worth everything! Set in the Regency Era, I felt like I was reading about Jane Austen, Lizzy Bennett or Emma.
Because Le Jun and Ping Fan have eyes only for each other. The descriptions of scenes and Characters that Nicole gave not only made me feel like I was part of the story but that I new the places and characters intimately. Although there were issues that needed to be resolved, I hated that Ting En played the noble idiocy card. To become something entirely beyond herself is hard enough, let alone helping her niece search for the biological father she has never met before. How will she overcome the obstacles in front of her? Masked Love is the first book in the Beyond Boundaries series by Nicole Zoltack.
But when Isabelle attends a masquerade ball and dances with a handsome stranger, suddenly Lady Theodosia's marriage plans are on shaky ground. Her twin sister is the sweet Wu Ping Fan also played by , who lives a quiet, simple life overseas. Y colorín colorado, vivieron felices para siempre. This was a refreshing short one and I loved it just as well. Thinking she will never see him again, she returns his flirtation and even reveals her face.
Me llevó una eternidad terminar este libro, y eso que sólo tiene 75 páginas. Isabelle has never had occasion to attend such an event, and is at first ill at ease. This was very consistent throughout the entire show, though it took me a while to notice it. But meeting an enchanting young man during t Isabelle is content being a maid, and will do anything for her lady, even accompany her to a masquerade ball. I marked it down a star as i felt like the author should have made the story a little longer. A few days after a masked ball that she asked her maid to attend with her, he arrives. A lovely read designed to leave the reader satisfied to which I can definitely attest! He is royalty as well, but still has the conscience and emotions of the average human.
I received this book for free from the Author in exchange for a honest review. That applies in spades here. Not to mention, her talent of perfect taste. Meanwhile, Tian Xing becomes enamored with the unexpected second female lead Jing Xuan who is a nurse at a hospital that these characters end up frequenting because they are in the mafia and always getting into fights, of course. ¿Habré leído el mismo libro que las personas que lo puntúan tan alto? Lo terminé única y exclusivamente porque pienso que he dejado mucho libros sin terminar últimamente.
She did marry her first kiss, after all! She is known for serving her specialty: shrimp curry burgers. Lady Theodosia is an eligible young lady on the eve of being introduced to her intended, picked by her parents years ago. I liked This is a gorgeous short Novella for those of you who love a romance story with an unexpected twist. The plot was very engaging and well-written, but I felt the end was a little rushed and could've been made a little longer. It stars Chris Wu and Ivy Shao who have some pretty sizzling chemistry together if you ask me.
This romantic book reminded me of the Sylvia Day historical romances without the graphic sex but just as good. But this one was quite a journey! I recommend Masked Love to anyone looking for a historical romance Christmas read that is not excessively steamy but has a definite and wonderful Austen-vibe. The synopsis might sound spoilery to some but it just basically gives you an idea of what happens in the first episode. From the moment that Isabelle met Lord Adrian Wingrave at the Masquerade Ball and This book was captivating from beginning to end from the relationship between Isabelle and Lady Theodosia to the growing love story between Isabells and Lord Adrian Wingrave.
