The Province of Nova Scotia requests that an archaeologist be on site on Oak Island as an adviser to the treasure hunters. That being said, many are wondering if the curse is real or purely a myth that was passed on through time. Some small pottery fragments are brought up from one of the boreholes. Plot Summary At the Money Pit area, Rick Lagina, Dave Blankenship, and Charles Barkhouse meet with geologist Terry Matheson, who informs them that the Brewster Drill Team is currently drilling a hole in the spot at which the is believed to be located. While Rick calls up Craig Tester in order to see if he is in agreement with the decision, Gudelewicz approaches Matheson with the news, relayed to him by driller Ivan Gough, that the drill actually encountered a three-foot void beginning at 166 feet. Another copper coin is found on the island.
